Nesbitt Racing has established itself as a well respected driver development and leasing program. Over the last 5 years, numerous drivers have competed with Nesbitt Racing with great success. Our focus is on driver development and coaching, extensive testing, solid preparation, and skill advancement of the drivers. Let us help you take your racing skills to a new level!

2011 Drivers:

Mart Nesbitt: Pursuing a repeat Points Championship at Newport Speedway. Additional Plans to include competing in 5-6 PASS South National Late Model events at Hickory, NC; Newport, TN; N. Wilksboro, NC; Hickory Speedway, NC. Also, initial plans to compete in several premier late season all-star events including the World Crown 300 at Gresham Park, GA; North South Shootour at Concord, NC, and possibly the Snowball Derby in Pennsacola, FL.

Taylor Nesbitt: At 13 years old, Taylor will move up to the Late Model Sportsman division at Newport. Her goals include rookie of the year and a top 5 finish in the division points. Past experience includes runner-up points finish in the Mod 4 division at Newport in 2010. Prior to that, she competed for three years in the highly competitive Quarter Midget racing series in both Junior and Senior Honda.

Nesbitt Racing is also available for leasing in the USAR ProCup division and the Super Cup Stock Car Series with three race ready cars, a proven resume, and top quality equipment. Lease fees vary depending on number of events and overall plans.

Past Drivers:

Michelle Theriault: Competed full time in 2006 Hooters ProCup division. 1st female to qualify for the National Points Championship.

Joe Gaita: In the Hooters ProCup event, Gaita led halfway with a Top 5 finish in his only start with NRE.

Adam Dean: Five races, ProCup, 4 out of 5 with Top 10 qualifying starts.

Derrick Kelley: Hooters ProCup event, Myrtle Beach, leading over 25 laps in the event.

Colin Braun: Current Roush Truck series driver, dedicated coaching and testing event in preparation of the Roush Gong Show.

Megan Reitenour: 2008 Supercup Stock Car Series Rookie of the Year, 3 poles and 3 wins (series most). Led 7 of 10 races. 2nd in Points Championship by 7 points. NASCAR Driver Diversity program for 2 years.
